Success Depends On Our Effort.

Success of our collection program primarily depends on the effort of each and every one of us.

The more family, friends and business associates we reach the more items our organization will collect.

We have set an organizational goal of “One Million Units”. That represents those cartridges, which are on the qualifying list and digital cell phones. Cell phones do not have a qualifying list because most have some value even if they are slightly damaged. We request that extremely old phones with 2 lb. batteries not be shipped. They are of no value and cost more to process then any value they may bring the organization. Use the general rule. If it looks relatively new and fits in the palm of your hand — Send it!

You can notify your local family members, friends and associates to gather these items from their friends and family members and pass them on to you to ship from your Chapter.

Use the convenient “Tell A Friend” feature below to notify everyone by email. Remember, even family and friends that live across town or across the country can help us reach our goal and earn “collection credits” for your local Chapter.

There are over 500 Million deactivated cell phones lying around in offices and homes throughout the country. Just about everyone has an older cell phone or a couple of ink cartridges, which can be donated to help change a life.

Hello, this is Your name will be inserted here from NABVETS, a Veteran Service Organization. I am forwarding a special request from our “fund raising site”.

Please visit http://www.recycle4NABVETS.com for specific information with respect to our objective.

As you are aware, NABVETS is working in unity with communities to end homelessness, empower low-income, minority veterans and assisting disadvantaged youth in our communities. Furthermore, we work with local organizations to develop programs, which provide affordable permanent housing for all low-income veterans and non-veterans.

I need your help to continue our programs.

We are not asking you to write a check as other charitable organizations may do. We only ask that you donate your old de-activated cell phones and empty inkjet cartridges and ask your family and friends to do likewise. These items have value when recycled and remanufactured.

The funds your “eWaste” generates for NABVETS helps support the most worthwhile programs.

ALL THE INFORMATION AND DETAILS CAN BE FOUND ON http://www.recycle4NABVETS.com

Over 500 million cell phones are out there and 400 million cartridges sold each year. Help us collect “One Million”, a veteran will thank you.

You can collect the items and pass them on to me personally or you may elect to send them to the collection facility directly. Either way it will be greatly appreciated.

Please select our Chapter to receive credit for the donated items when sending them directly to the recycling facility.

Whenever, you see a friend using a cell phone, please ask him to donate the old one. It could help change a child’s life or provide a home for a veteran or needy family.

We need 999,999 more. I donated mine.
